Spare parts dealers and artisans at the Suame Magazine have raised concerns about the continuing weakening of the Ghanaian cedi to major foreign currencies, describing the situation as a fear that jeopardises the sustainability of their businesses.
Speaking to the media, the Managing Director of BASFARM COMPANY, Alhaji Musah Abubakar has underscored the need to stress that the future of businesses at Suame Magazine is gradually deteriorating and need immediate intervention to redeem it.
The unstable alarming rate of the running dollar is creeping business, modern technology, and advance artisan skills at Suame Magazine seeks for swift measures to be facilitated by managers of the dollar to ease the squabble spare parts dealers and artisans went through in their courses to do business.
He stressed that Suame Magazine in its current situation cannot stand soldier to soldier with other African countries in the area of technology. Lamenting, the world today survives through technologically advancement but, Suame Magazine is languishing to meet the standards of the world technology.
Alhaji Musah explained their efforts to rebrand the Same Magazine of which they have facilitated plans with chiefs and some key leaders so that things could be done right but prove futile.
“We have no business direction at Suame Magazine due to the fail nature of both past and current governments’ and the MP, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensu who constituency, Suame Magazine is situated also fail woefully to support the survival of Suame Magazine…Suame magazine today is negative in productivity” he stated.
He, therefore, appealed to the president, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo through the Ministry of Trade and Industry to as a matter of urgency facilitate measures that can put Suame Magazine back on flexible business path.
