The Deputy Minister of Information, Pius Enam Hadzide has supported the fight against Coronavirus pandemic in the Asuogyaman District.
He donated quantities of hand Washing kits, hand sanitizer, and soft drinks to be distributed to the vulnerable persons in Communities in the district.
The items were received by the Parliamentary Aspirant for the ruling New Patriotic Party, Paul Ansah.
Pius Enam Hadzide was born on June 14, 1979, to parents who were natives of Asuogyaman and Ketu South Districts.
He thought Physics and Mathematics in the Akwamuman Secondary School.
Eastern Region has recorded 41 cases of Coronavirus as of April 13, 2020. Most of the confirmed cases are from among some railway construction workers in Lower Manya Krobo while one case has been recorded in Fanteakwa North District.
Contact tracing and testing are ongoing in the Apegusu community in the Asuogyaman District at the camp of railway construction workers.
Some community members are also being tested.
