The Hon. Deputy Minister Abdulai Abanga (MP) commissioned Rehoboth’s ‘Open House for Customers’, a Social Housing facility at Ayi Mensah, Accra.
He has called on private developers to explore opportunities created by the government for the industry towards bridging the country’s worrying housing deficit which currently stands at 1.8 million housing units.
The Deputy Minister also assured of the Ministry’s readiness to welcome initiatives from industry players that promote continuous growth and development in the housing industry.
Acknowledging the contribution of the construction industry to national socio-economic development, the sector Deputy Minister said, “It is the policy of Government to adopt Public-Private collaborations as a means of leveraging private sector resources, experiences and expertise to achieve our desired objectives”.
