Newly enstooled chief, Nana Affum Larbi I, popularly known in the entertainment fraternity as Atom Reloaded has said that he will continue his music career despite being enstooled as chief in his hometown.
Atom who spoke on the sidelines of the ceremony continued that due to his new status certain things including the use of profane words are going to change in his music.
“…due to my status now, my language and utterances will change because people look up to me.”
The musician on Wednesday was elevated to the status of a Gyaasehene of Asuaba Traditional Council in the Akim District of the Upper West Region.
Atom, following his enstoolment, will no longer be identified as the Ebenezer Larbi that he was birthed, but Nana Afum Larbi I.
Nana Larbi swore an oath before Chief of Asuaba, Baffour Offei Attakora, and his kinsmen after which the final chieftaincy rites were performed.
Atom has been recorded by the Council as the youngest chief enstooled for the welfare of the youth.
Atom’s debut single ‘Yewokrom‘became a worldwide hit some years ago. Sadly, much hasn’t been heard from him since his popular song diffused in the music scene.
