The Resident Minister of Pentecost International Worship Center (PIWC)-Koforidua, Pastor Musa Yahaya, has advised students not to be deceived to join any group that claim to provide powers for academic exploits or riches.
According to him, these feeble powers are evil and have fatal implications and complications.
Pastor Musa Yahaya said the craze for these earthly powers and riches has led to the rise in crime and wickedness. He, therefore, urged the students to seek only the power of God in their academic pursuit and future endeavors because the power of God surpasses all and it can change ugly situations to be beautiful ones.
According to him, unlike the feeble power of the devil that requires the application of concoctions and performance of rituals, the supernatural power of God automatically comes upon anyone who truly accepts Jesus as his Lord and personal savior.
“Many people are joining several occults and several groups in other to get power. Many people are doing certain rituals even at an age that we don’t even expect. People are doing several things just to get power but this power is all earthly, temporal limited and evil powers. They do unheard-of things. So many weird things, sacrifices and they put their own lives and future at risk all in the name of the craze for power and evil”.

He continued “all these things they call for are fake powers. But the original power is not sold, original power is not paid for, the original is given for free as many as belief. For all those who accepted Jesus, God gave them power. This power is not given by a fetish priest, and this is not given by an occult master, this is not given by witches and demons. Original power is given by God and it is for free. So why don’t you go and open up for the free but pay dearly for the fake? The amazing thing is that fake powers tremble in the presence of the original”.
Pastor Musa Yahaya advised the students to be God-fearing, prayerful, discipline, take their studies seriously and continue to trust God for He is a covenant-keeping God who never fails.
Some of the students surrendered their lives to Jesus by accepting Him as their savior.
The service ended with powerful worship and prayer which saw the students reflect, meditate and renew their spiritual strengths.
