The Interior Minister, Ambrose Dery has advised Ghanaians not to blame security personnel for violent incidents during the Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
To him, all related violence that occurred in the 2020 polls is being investigated.
The Minister continued that the police have begun an investigation into violence recorded in Techiman and Savelugu.
“Our investigations will find out who people who fired warning shots at some polling station,’’ said Mr Dery.
Mr Dery said though the country recorded some violence at the end of the polls this election has been the most violence-free.
