Chief of Asamankese in the Eastern Region, Osbarima Adu Darko III has warned citizens who are determined to resist Authority Restrictions not to come to his palace for a favor when arrested.
He said, “Anyone who doesn’t want to abide by the law to fight the spread of COVID -19 is wicked and want to kill others but I will not entertain such immoral acts.”
Speaking to officials of the Asamankese Government Hospital when he paid a visit to Frontline workers, Osbarima Adu Darko III commended health workers and government for their support to fight the spread of the deadly disease and pledged the traditional support to the Hospital.
He charged people in the area to ensure social distancing, wear nose masks, and stop all gatherings and appeal to those who have lost their family members to as matter of urgency bury them as ordered by Okyehene and the President.
The chief donated Personal Protective Equipment to the Hospital and the items comprise Coveralls, Gloves, Goggles, hand sanitizers, veronica buckets, surgical face masks, hand washing liquid soap as well as boxes of test kits.
