The Director-General of the Ghana Education (GES), Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa has warned the head of schools across the country not to issue prospectus to parents and failure to comply with the said rule will have themselves to blame.
Professor Amankwa sent this caution during an interview with an Accra based radio station.
According to Professor Amankwa, GES has not given any school the authority, particularly public schools to give prospectus to parents therefore Heads of schools who are into such practices should desist from it.
“Those schools and heads, they dare not. Nobody has authorized them to do that. You’ll be in trouble should you do such a thing. Nobody has directed any person to issue prospectus”, he said
This directive from GES comes after reports circulated that some schools have issued a prospectus to some wards after reopening.
