The Bono East Regional Manager of the Public Utilities Regulatory Commission, Mr. Cassiel Eghan Asiedu has urged Ghanaians to desist from lamenting on their electricity and water problems in their homes or workplaces but rather report to the PURC for quick solutions.
According to him, out of the total of 452 complaints lodged with the PURC against the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (NEDCo) and the Ghana Water Company (GWC) in the Bono East Region in the year 2024, 446 were amicably resolved representing a 98.67% resolution rate.
He said 91 complaints representing 20.13% were also lodged by the Utility Companies against consumers in the Bono East Region.
Mr. Cassiel Eghan Asiedu was speaking in an interview with Nana Kwadwo Adu in Techiman on the 2024 annual report.
Mr. Cassiel Eghan emphasised the need to ensure that all Stakeholders play their part to ensure reliable and high-quality service delivery for electricity and water in the Bono East region.
