Songstress Sista Afia has practically begged music lovers not to tag her as a slay queen. As she doesn’t want to be associated with such a title.
According to her, she isn’t happy how Ghanaians openly calls her a slay queen because she believes she doesn’t do things related to the lifestyle of a slay queen.
She made this known during an interview with Abieku Santana on Okay FM.
Clarifying that singing about Slay Queens does not make her one.
“ Please I only did a slay queen song but I’m not a slay queen myself”, she said.
“Now everybody is making slay queen look like an ashawo (prostitution) so I don’t even want to have that name on me even though I have sung about it before. I don’t want to anything to do with it”, she affirmed.
