A business mogul and a Former Finance Minister of Ghana under National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr. Kwabena Duffuor seem to be warming up to his Presidential ambition.
Less than 24 hours after making a controversial post on Facebook which seems to chide former President Mahama on his recent “do or die” comment by calling for words of peace, Dr. Duffuor on Friday, September 10, 2021, visited the Jewish House of Prayer for what seems to seek the favor of God for his new political journey.
He posted “today, as the Jewish people are ending their New Year and preparing for Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, I once again paid a visit to the Jewish house of prayer to receive blessings from Rabbi Noach Majesky, chief Rabbi of Ghana.
As a devout Christian, I feel a great kinship with the Jewish people and as a Ghanaian; I am proud that our great nation embraces all faiths and puts a premium on a life of Godly devotion. Only by putting God first can we fix these country and lead purposeful lives of devotion and service” Dr. Duffuor said.
He added “Rabbi Majesky and I spoke at length about the importance of putting faith and religious education back into children’s lives, as a prominent part of their upbringing, as it helps guide them in the choices they make and puts them on a path to righteousness.
May we remember that we are all God’s children and that all things good and true, come from and through him”.
