The Former Communications Minister Dr. Omane Boamah on Friday, October 30, 2020, donated massively to support the Campaign of New Juaben North Constituency of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Eastern Region.
The items donated include 7000 posters of John Mahama and the Parliamentary Candidate Emmanuel Asante, 1,100 branded T-shirts of JM and the PC, 3000 Campaign fliers, two registered motorbikes, and a Laptop for the Constituency Secretariat.
Presenting the items on his behalf, the former Eastern Regional Secretary of the NDC Mark Oliver Kevor encouraged the party” to hit the grounds running and preach the gospel according to the People’s Manifesto and Second Coming of John Mahama”
He indicated that Dr.Omane Boamah had himself willed in the coming days join the campaign in the Constituency.
The Constituency Chairman Alhaji Nasiru and the PC Mr. Asante express gratitude to the Former Minister and appealed to the other sons and daughters of the Constituency to emulate a good example of Dr. Omane Boamah.
The Parliamentary Candidate for the NDC in New Juaben North Sampson Oti Boateng, 42, died on October 7, 2020; a day to submission of his nomination form to the Electoral Commission. He was however quickly replaced by Emmanuel Asante. This created a huge burden on the Constituency as it had to remobilize resources to rebrand the Campaign with the new PC.
