Administrative Manager of Dreams FC, Ameenu Shadow has expressed satisfaction with the disbursement of FIFA/CAF Covid-19 relief fund which is yet to hit the Ghana Football Association (GFA) account.
The country’s football governing body recently released a statement on how the $1.8m received from FIFA and CAF will be disbursed to the clubs.
Ghana Premier League clubs are expected to pocket $15,000 whereas Division One Clubs takes $7,5000.
However, some stakeholders have expressed their displeasure over the allocation plan particularly New Edubiase president, Abdul Salam Yakubu as he opts to rejects the package.
But according to Ameenu Shadow, he is satisfied with how the FA decided to disburse the money.
“Personally, I have looked at the allocation sheet by the FIFA direction that the money should go to the benefit of a wilder football fraternity. I think the FA has done its bid in trying to ensure that at least the limited resources reach as many stakeholders as possible” he said.
