Dreams FC defender Issah Yakubu has hailed the signing of former Hearts of Oak striker, Joseph Esso and has pledged his full support for him to succeed.
Esso, 23, moved to the Still Believe lads on a two-year deal as a free agent after his contract with Accra Hearts of Oak expired last month and has officially been unveiled as a player of Dreams FC.
Esso was one of five players who parted ways with the Rainbow colours after failure to extend their contract with the management of the club after their contract elapsed.
After being chased by clubs in Ghana and abroad including, Hearts of Oak rival, Asante Kotoko, Esso, swerved all to join the Dawu based club.
In an interview with S.K Ntim of Bryt FM in Koforidua, he said, “I’m really happy about the signing of Esso because he is one of the best strikers in the country. To get a player like him is a plus; I met him at national camp and saw his potentials as a striker”
“His arrival will help us. The team will fit him, he is going to help us and we are also going to support him to be Joseph Esso”
