Out of the 32 Municipal and District Assemblies in the Eastern Region, 16 have recorded 94 COVID-19 related deaths as of 12th August 2021.
New Juaben South Municipal is leading will 51 deaths; follow by Denkyembour and Kwahu West which have nine and seven deaths respectively.
The rests are Kwahu South and New Juaben North with five and four deaths, while Lower Manya Krobo and Birim North also have two cases of death.
Akwapim North, Kwahu East, Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Birim Central, and Abuakwa South also have two cases of death.
Atiwa West, West Akyem Municipal, Asuogyaman, and Fanteakwa North have also recorded one each death.
