The Odumase Krobo Circuit Court in the Eastern Region has convicted an 18-year-old man into 3 years imprisonment for storming school with a machete in an attempt to attack a teacher.
The Convict, Kwaku Robert, pleaded guilty when arraigned before court.
Kwaku Robert on August 11, 2021stormed Kodjonya Millennium Presbyterian Junior High School with a machete in an attempt to attack a national Service teacher for rebuking his junior brother who is a JHS one student.
Fortunately, the teacher had stepped out when his attacker came to the school.
The entire teachers boycotted teaching and subsequently shut down the school.
But upon the arrest and jailing of the suspect, the school has been reopened on Monday.
