The government is working to address the challenging times we find ourselves in and a number of policies and programs would be incorporated into the 2023 budget for implementation to improve the situation, according to the deputy Finance minister, Abena Osei Asare.
The minister made the pronouncement came when she visited four churches in Kadewaso, namely the Assemblies of God Church, the Apostolic Church Ghana, the Church of Pentecost, and the Methodist Church in the Atiwa East constituency of the Eastern region.
According to the MP for the area, President Akufo-Addo’s administration would continue to put down measures and policies to ensure the reviving of the economy from the current global crisis.
She also admonished congregants to do everything possible to guard the peace we currently enjoy in the country as citizens cannot move forward without peace.
Hon. Osei Asare also donated bags of rice and oil to support the vulnerable members of the church and also thanked them for their intercession for the Constituency and Country.
