Twenty-Eight (28) houses have been ripped off by a devastating rainstorm that struck Kwahu -Kotoso Community in the Eastern Region.
Also affected are two (2) schools -Elizabeth International School and Asempanaye D/A J.H.S block & canteen, three (3) Churches, and a hairdressing salon.

A total of 140 residents have been displaced. The displaced residents are perching with families.
The incident occurred on May 11, 2020, around 7:45am.

Officials of the National Disaster Management Organization and Kwahu South Assembly have visited the community to assess the situation.
