The 1994 year group of the New Juaben College of Commerce (NJUACOCO), a private basic school in Koforidua, has donated learning materials to their alma mater as part of activities marking the school’s 30th anniversary celebration.
The President of the 1994 year group, Kennedy Kwasi Gyamfi, explained that the gesture was aimed at giving back to the institution that shaped their educational journey, with the goal of enhancing teaching and learning.
Receiving the donation, the Headmistress of NJUACOCO, Dr. Hajia Sharifatu, who is also a retired head of the Islamic Senior High School in Suhum, expressed deep appreciation.
She reiterated that private schools face numerous challenges, making such support from alumni crucial for improving educational outcomes.
