The Immanuel Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in Abonse-Akuapem has made a cash donation to support the victims of a recent accident that occurred at Aseseeso on the main Koforidua-Somanya road. The victims, primarily children, are currently receiving treatment at the Yilo Krobo Municipal Hospital in Somanya.
The affected students are from the Ben Kunadu SDA Basic School, located in the Asante Akyem North Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The tragedy struck when a bus, registered as GV 83-22 and belonging to Collins Senior High School in Asante Agogo, lost control while descending Aseseeso Hill. The vehicle reportedly rolled over multiple times before landing on its side. The students were on their way to Akosombo for an excursion when the crash occurred.

During a morning devotion session led by the church leadership, Rev. John Nartey shared the word of God and prayed for the speedy recovery of the victims. He noted that the donation aims to assist the victims in returning to their hometown.
Rev. Nartey also urged fellow clergymen to use their sermons as a platform to promote safe driving practices and to speak out against behaviors that contribute to road accidents, with the hope of minimizing such incidents in the future.
