The Anchto Foundation for Education and Self-Help (AFES-Ghana) has trained over one hundred and forty (140) youth in the New Juaben South Municipality of the Eastern Region on digital advocacy skills to drive sustainable development in their communities.
The workshop is part of a series of interrelated activities implemented by AFES-Ghana in collaboration with STAR-Ghana Foundation and Botnar Foundation.
The Executive Director for AFES Ghana, Esther Nketia, explained that the digital training intends to deepen the knowledge of the youth on social media platforms in the municipality.

Speaking to Nhyiraba Nartey Solomon of Bryt FM during the workshop, Madam Esther Nketia indicated that participants were trained to develop innovative social media strategies to advertise their business.
The participants gained knowledge on the use of technology to minimize digital fraud and create effective digital.

AFES Ghana also educated the youth on the importance of accountability at the various Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDAs).
