Some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Brekusu have called for an immediate investigation into allegations of employment abuse by the Akwapim South Constituency Chairman, Kojo Benny.
They spoke at a press conference in Brekusu, expressing their concern that the chairman’s actions were undermining the unity of the party, sowing discontent and division within their ranks.
The members are particularly frustrated that job allocations, which were supposed to be made available for identified party members, have not been distributed fairly.

They accused the chairman of withholding these opportunities, leading to a sense of injustice and dissatisfaction among loyal party supporters.
In response, the group has demanded that the national party leadership intervene, calling for the Constituency Chairman to be held accountable for his actions.
Angel Yirenkyi, the branch chairman at Brekusu emphasized the group is not happy and are therefore, demanding accountability.

However, posters and banners of the constituency chairman have sprang up in the constituency with inscriptions “Remove Kojo As Chairman of the Constituency”, He Only Destroys, thereby sparking tension within the rank and file of the party in the constituency.
Meanwhile, all efforts to get in touch with the constituency chairman could not materialize at the time of filing the report.
