President Akufo-Addo is set to embark on a two-day tour of the Eastern Region of Ghana from Wednesday, November 27 to Thursday 28 November, 2024.
According to Evans Osei Yeboah, the Eastern Regional Communication Director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), the President’s tour aims to meet with stakeholders, including a durbar of chiefs, Islamic and Christian clergy and party members.
On Bryt Adekye Mu Nsem with Kwamina Sam Biney, he stated the President’s touur started in the Northern part of Ghana and continued to the Oti region and now the turn of those in the East.
“The President’s itinerary includes a visit to the Kwahu Mpraeso social center, Akim Oda market, and Kyebi, before concluding his tour at Akropong. During his visit to Akim Oda market, the President will provide support to traders who lost their goods in a fire and also commission the new Oda central market” he narrated.
The President will also meet with stakeholders and Assembly members in Koforidua, where he will open the Jackson Park on Thursday.
Mr. Yeboah emphasized the President’s tour is an opportunity for him to discuss his achievements and urge stakeholders to support his vice, Dr. Mahmudu Bawumia to continue his work.
