Chief of Asikasu near Adeiso in Upper West Akyem District, Barima Konadu Yiadom, has expressed worries about continuous robbery cases that have been going on in his community by the youth of the town.
According to him, drivers who load from circle to Asamankese refuse to stop at Asikasu in the night because they are afraid the youth in the town will attack and rob them.
He added, apart from the robbery incidents by these young guys, they have weed ghettos at vantage points in the town which he has reported to the police severally but nothing has been done about it.
Barima Konadu Yiadom appealed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to as a matter of urgency intervene in ensuring the security of the people in the area is well on track.
He insisted his outfit would do all possibilities in connection with other stakeholders to make sure the youth are well trained devoid of social vices.
