Eight year old Cerebral Palsy Girl, Adwoa Mila Mensah has received a brand new Chest Freezer from the Department of Social Welfare in West Akim Municipal Assembly in the Eastern Region to begin water selling business at Home.
Mother of the disabled girl, Kyeremanteng Naomi said she requested for the freezer in October through the Social Welfare Department.
In an interview, Naomi said her daughter since birth has never crawled and walked before, and cannot communicate with her parents but she is not deaf.
She said all efforts to make her daughter to walk have proved futile and for the past eight years,she has been in the house without work because the daughter cannot do anything on her own so she always need attention and special care.
Adwoa Mila mother said there is financial pressure on her husband since he is the sole bread winner of the family.
She said the Freezer from the government will enable her to sell sachet water in the house to generate funds to support the family and urged Philanthropists to come to her aid to do Business in the house.
