An 18-year-old female student of the Nsutam Senior High Technical School in Fanteakwa South District of the Eastern Region has allegedly been stabbed to death by her barber boyfriend.
Abigail Asare, a form -two General Arts student reportedly visited the boyfriend Michael Osei at his barbering saloon Thursday June 1,2023 after the school went on mid-term break.
The suspect accused the girlfriend of cheating on him leading to furious misunderstanding.
The barber allegedly stabbed the girl multiple times to death and abandoned her body in the barbering shop and went into hiding.
The body of the student was found on Friday in pool of blood.
Kyebi Police joined their counterparts in Nsutam area at the crime scene for inventory after which the body was taken to kibi government hospital morgue.
A manhunt has been launched by police for the arrest of the suspect.
