On Friday, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia joined the Chiefs and people of the Manya Krobo Traditional Area to mark the 25th Anniversary of the enstoolment of Nene Sakite II, Paramount Chief of Manya Krobo Traditional Area.
In his speech, the Vice President commended Nene and his subjects for upholding their rich tradition and custom over the years.
He, however, assured Nene Sakite II of government’s continuous partnership for more development and listed several infrastructure projects the government of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has built for the area, including classroom blocks, health facilities, and an extension of electricity, among others.
