A 19 – year – old boy is battling for life after he was trapped in a con Mill machine.
Afadzinu Lucean was operating the machine at Ehiamankyene in Fanteakwa North District in Eastern Region when he was accidentally trapped in the machine.
Afadzinu sustained a fracture in the limbs, hands, and legs.
The timely intervention saved him from losing his life.
He was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Koforidua and admitted.
The family has already spent more than GHc10,000 on his medical bills.
However, the parents who are peasant’s farmers are struggling to mobilize this huge amount to settle the rest of the medical bills.
The Father of the victim Emmanuel Kofi Afadzinu said due to the inability of the family to pay the GHc12,000 medical bills incurred, the victim has been detained at the hospital.
