After her wife and daughter escaping death in a devastating fire outbreak late last year, Bryt fm media personality Kwabena Nyarko Abronoma led the family to donate to inmates of Koforidua Prisons and Agatha Police station during the yuletide.
Madam Philomina Addobea and her daughter escaped death when fire gutted their residence at Koforidua Nsukwao as a result of gas explosion.
The two, who were then inside the room narrowly escaped death when the fire gutted their warehouse and part of the bedroom.
It took the interventions of people within the area and the effort of the Ghana Fire Service to bring down the fire which destroyed items (tubers of yam and bags of onion) worth about Ghc25,000.00.
Despite the heavy loss, the family showed gratitude to God by feeding female inmates at the Agatha Police station and later presented food stuffs to the Koforidua Prisons.
However, inmates at the Agatha Police station were grateful for the gesture since they were left to their fate as to how to also celebrate the Christmas, while officials at the Koforidua Prisons commended the family for their support as it would go along way to put smile on faces of inmates.
