A corpse is reportedly missing at Suhum government Hospital in the Eastern Region.
Family of the late Nene Kofi Padi went to the hospital Friday to retrieve his corpse only to be told the body could not be found.
The only excuse given by the mortuary workers was that, the corpse may
have been mistakenly given to a different bereaved family that throng the morgue.
The Mortuary workers and Hospital authorities were calling families that came for their dead bodies to verify the identity of the corpses taken from the hospital.
As at the time of publishing the story, the family were stranded at the mortuary while undertakers and mourners were in waiting.
