The National Coordinator of the Deaf Ministry of the Church of Pentecost Pastor Peter Reuben Wuni on Sunday visited the Ministry to Persons With Disability(MPWDs) Assembly in Koforidua to climax the Apostolization program with the members.
In a sermonette on the Topic: “Remembrance” with main texts taken from Genesis 8:1 ,and Psalm 106:4, Pastor Reuben Wuni,who is the first ordained full time Deaf Pastor in the Church of Pentecost, encouraged the hearing impaired members to give their all in supporting the ministry to grow, that, their toil will never be in vain,God will remember and reward them.
Speaking to Obed Ansah in Koforidua, Pastor Reuben Wuni said the Deaf ministry is growing by the grace of God with over 2000 members nationwide.
He urged parents of children children with disability not to hide them in their rooms but bring them to church for God to use them as vessels to possess the Nations to His glory.
“Don’t hide your children with disability in the house .Bring them to church .They are needed by God to be used as vessels to save others and posses the Nations.In Ghana, mostly we don’t have confidence in persons with disability.Wr think they have nothing to offer but let me tell you, they have potentials ” Pastor Reuben Wuni said this through a sign language interpreter.
Presiding Elder of the MPWDs in Koforidua, Elder David Asante Agyei, thanked Pastor Reuben Wuni for Apostolization visit.
