Eleven institutions in the New Juaben North municipality of the Eastern region has benefited from street light bulbs donated by the Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, October 1, 2022.
The schools includes; six senior high and technical schools, two tertiary schools as well as the St Joseph Hospital and the Municipal Health Directorate.
The Coordinating Director, Mr. Ndinga Nborinyi in his welcome address indicated the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring security at the various institutions and in the municipality at large.
He, however, charged beneficiaries to mount the bulbs at vantage points to help fight crime within the whole municipality.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Madam Comfort Asante in her short remarks assured institutions of her outfit’s zeal to ensure the national cake is well distributed to benefit everyone.
She pledged to make sure the whole municipality improve on its lightening system so as to help deal with crime and its related issues.
Meanwhile, Mr. Clement Dziwornu of Oyoko Methodist SHS (OMESS) on behalf other institutions expressed gratitude to the Assembly for the donation and assured to mount the bulbs at vantage areas as required of them.
Present at the short ceremony were some Heads of Department at the Assembly.
