A fetish priest has been arrested at Abetima, a farming community near Okrakwadwo in the Okere District in the Eastern region for digging a grave of a man buried five months ago for rituals for a yet to be identified Prophet at Nkurakan.
The fetish priest and his accomplices were spotted by some youth from the Okrakwadwo community who were heading towards Abetima village, digging the grave in the evening.
The suspects mentioned names of some opinion leaders granting permission to perform some rituals on the grave
However, the fetish priest and his accomplices escaped when the youth in the community got wild and mobilized to the scene.
The fetish priest returned to the community the next morning to apologize to the opinion leaders he claimed granted him permission, but was arrested by the youth in the community in a chaotic and near-violent manner.
“They were digging the grave of the man buried 5 to 6 months. However, they escaped when the guys mobilized people to get them arrested.
