A fetish priest is in trouble for recording on video sexual encounter between him and his girlfriend ,and circulating same to the public.
In the video in possession of Bryt FM ,the fetish priest (name withdrawn) is seen having sexual intercourse with the full naked lady lying in missionary position. The face and entire body of the lady was captured in the video however the face of the fetish priest was not shown.
The leaked video has gone viral on WhatsApp platforms leading to the arrest of the fetish priest who admitted recording the video but denied leaking it.
The lady says she was unaware that the fetish priest was recording her.
Bryt FM source indicate that, the suspect fetish priest will put before Koforidua District Court”A” today where he will be charged and prosecuted.
Ghana’s Cybersecurity Act 2020 passed in 2021 seeks to crackdown on taking and circulating or publishing of naked and sexual images of people.
Under the law, persons who circulate naked images of others could face fines between GH 30,000 to GH60,000 or face jail term of five, 10 to 15 or 25 years.
Journalist and legal practitioner, Samson Lardy ANYENINI shared more light on the law when it was assed that “The law punishes cyber activities involving sexual abuse of children and adults – including child grooming for sexual abuse or aiding and abetting same or cyberstalking of a child with five to 15 years in jail.”
He added that “A threat to circulate indecent image or so as to get cash from victims – call it blackmail or sexual extortion attracts 10 to 25 in jail and non-consensual sharing of intimate images as well as threat to distribute intimate images or video recordings will get you spending one to three years in jail” .
