A domestic fire outbreak at Osino in the Eastern Region has left one person injured and 16 individuals displaced after the blaze consumed three bedrooms and destroyed personal property worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
The incident occurred between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm on Thursday.

According to the Fanteakwa South District Operations Department of NADMO, the fire was caused by an electrical fault.
An estimated GH¢5,900 in cash was lost in the fire, while household items such as 3 mattresses, 2 fridges ,3 television sets, 1 laptop, clothing,cooking utensils furniture and other valuables were completely destroyed.

One person sustained minor injuries and is currently receiving treatment.
Images from the scene show significant damage to the affected property.
The Ghana National Fire Service that extinguished the blaze has initiated investigation into the incident.
