At least five (5) cars have been burnt in a fire outbreak at a mechanic shop at the Akwatia GCD area in Denkyembuor District in the Eastern region.
The incident occurred Tuesday, July 6, 2021. The cause of the fire is not known.
The affected vehicles were parked at the shop undergoing mechanical fixing when the fire incident occurred.
The intervention of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) helped to douse the fire from spreading. No casualty recorded.
