Currencies totaling three thousand cedis have burnt in a fire outbreak at Sempoa a community in Kwahu East District of the Eastern region.
The currencies were in a single room gutted by fire on February 8, 2021, at about 4:30pm.
The fire also consumed other household properties including sound systems, fridge, and clothes.
A couple and their four children have been displaced by the fire.
The cause of the inferno is being investigated.
