Despite the backlash received for his pronouncement ahead of the 2024 general elections in the Easter eve, Abetifi lawmaker Bryan Acheampong seems to be getting the support he require at this time.
Eastern region Grassroots Communicators of the New Patriotic Party in the Eastern region also declared their support to the MP’s comment in a statement issued and signed by members of the group.
The MP cum Agric minister is on record of saying the NPP will devise every strategy to remain in power and that, the party would not hand over power to the NDC.

STATEMENT BY THE EASTERN REGION GRASSROOTS COMMUNICATORS.(NPP)
The Eastern Region Grassroots Communicators,made up of serial callers and texters are in full support of Hon. Bryan Acheampong for his words of encouragement to the teeming supporters of the party in our quest to break the eight (8) at the recent unity health walk in Kwahu.
We believe that cheampong said nothing bad to incur the wrath of Ghanaians.
He was only telling the party people not to feel intimidated by the NDC but rather to work hard to win the 2024 general elections.
The NPP-led government headed by President Akuffo Addo has done a lot for the good people of Ghana, so to sit aloof and not preach the gospel of the NPP for the opposition NDC to ascend to power is a BIG NO.
The NPP has the message to win the general elections come 2024;
1. We have been able to manage the dumsor problem. It’s almost a thing of the past.
2. We have restored teacher and nursing trainee allowance.
3. We have implemented Free Senior High School (FSHS) and TVET.
4. We have introduced one constituency one ambulance.
5. We have introduced NABCO to take care of the teeming unemployed graduates.
6. The YouStart program is also in force for our young entrepreneurs.
7. We have the one district one factory initiative.
8. The drone medical delivery system is also in place.
We add our voice to the call by our able vice president for the incompetent opposition NDC to tell us just one transformational policy Ghanaians would benefit from in the unlikely event that they win the election 2024.
We the NPP are very optimistic that our records and performance in government will do us the magic as we seek to break the eight (8).
