Eastern Regional Ghana Water Company Limited has presented 100 dual desks to be distributed to schools in the Manya Krobo Municipality to improve teaching and learning in the area.
Presenting the desks, Eastern Regional Chief Manager, Engineer Asomani Nyarko, said the gesture was meant to increase enrolment and also offer students a sound environment to study.
Engineer Asomani Nyarko opined that his office is open to the Directorate at all times and has taken notice of other challenges brought before his office
Receiving the desks, Mr. Odoi Kwaku Williams, Director of Education for Manya Krobo Municipal Assembly, thanked the directors of GWCL and promised to ensure that the desks will put to good use.
He advised philanthropists within the municipality to emulate a similar gesture.
