A half-naked man identified as Tamimu has been captured in a viral video invoking curses on some police officers on Asamankese road in the Eastern region for allegedly extorting GhȻ500 from him after planting marijuana in his car.
According to the man, Tamimu, on January 2, 2022, he was driving a DV plated Toyota Corolla saloon car belonging to his friend, Nketiah Frank from Anum Apapam to Asamankese to buy a tyre for his private vehicle.
On reaching a section of the road which is close to Asamankese he met a 5 member team of Police Officers from the National Highway Patrol on board a white pick up No.GP 2517.
The Patrol Team stopped him and searched his car.
Surprisingly, one of the Police officers said he found a wrap of suspected Indian hemp on the back seat of the car which Tamimu believe was planted by the police officers.
