The fire has gutted a house at Akyem Akropong in Atewa West District of the Eastern Region
The fire was reportedly caused by hand sanitizer which caught fire destroying household properties and Personal belongings.
Preliminary Investigations by the National Disaster Management Organization and Ghana National Fire Service have revealed that the fire was caused by two children who brought hand sanitizer into contact with a naked fire in the room.
A total of twelve (12) persons have been displaced by the fire outbreak
