Two passengers have died in a fatal accident in Atiwa West District of the Eastern region.
The accident occurred Wednesday around 3:00 pm when a speeding taxi cab crashed into a tree and further hit a nearby building.
The taxi cab in charge by a driver said to be inexperienced with the manual car was onboard by passengers traveling from Akyem Bomaa towards Akyem Kwabeng direction.
However, upon reaching a section of the road, the speeding car veered off the road and crashed into a tree leading to the death of two occupants on the spot.
The injured passengers and driver were rushed to Akyem Kwabeng health center and later referred to Engresi Hospital.
