Hemang in Fanteakwa South District in Eastern Region to prevent young women from engaging in illegal mining rather be in school and establish businesses for themselves.
The initiative “Inspired-by-Assor”, a women’s empowerment program, aimed to inspire girls in education
and empower women economically.
This laudable initiative attracted women and girls at Akyem Hemang, and neighbouring towns including Dome and Gyampomani.

During the event, Nancy Assor Asiedu Amarado highlighted the importance of good personal values, thinking big, setting tangible goals, designing action and implementation plans can empower them to achieve remarkable successes.

and community.
She urged students to maintain good hygiene and frequent handwashing amidst the current cholera outbreak.

She guided them through effective marketing and branding strategies, sharing valuable insights to help
them commercialize their well-di”erentiated products using both traditional and new
media.

them to become economically viable.
