The second day of the maiden Officer Cadets (OCs) and Recruits week at the Eastern Regional Command between the Regional Headquarters (RHQ) Sub Station and the Municipal Fire Station was marked with foot drills and the Hydrant drills (H1 and H2) competition on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
The foot drills ended with the RHQ Sub Station emerging winners whilst Recruit Fire Woman (RFW) Florence Korantemaa of RHQ Sub-Station was adjudged the overall winner of the Foot Drills competition.
The hydrant drills (H1 and H2) were won by the Municipal Fire Station.
In all, the Municipal Fire Station led by DO III Ayitey Brown Ocquaye emerged as the overall winners of the competitions (Quiz, Foot Drills and Hydrant Drill).
The Regional Fire Officer, ACFO I Jennifer Naa Yarley Quaye and her 2IC DO I Isaac Kofi Obosu were in attendance as the weekly event climaxed with some fun games on Friday, June 17, 2022, to foster camaraderie among the personnel.
