A 32year young man Kwame Frimpong popularly called “Cowbell” has been stabbed to death during a misunderstanding with his friend at a funeral in Akyem Oda -Nkwata in Birim Central Municipality in the Eastern region.
Information gathered indicates, Kwame Frimpong and his friend Nana Kwame,34, alias Cambodia picked a fight during a funeral on Saturday but were separated, and both left the funeral ground.
Kwame Frimpong was however furious claiming Nana Kwame rained insult at him calling him “stupid man” therefore returned to the funeral with a knife concealed under his dress around 8:00pm to stab Nana Kwame in revenge killing him instantly.
The suspect escaped into hiding.
Oda Municipal Police Commander, Chief Sup. Daniel Amoako said the police have received a report on the incident hence commenced investigation for the arrest of the suspect at large.
