Orphans at Akwadum Christian Village in the Eastern region felt over joy as the MarkGrace Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization held a dining ceremony to celebrate children who have no parents in the Eastern region.
The dining ceremony was in line with Mother Teresa’s quote, a Roman Catholic Saint, which says when a poor person dies of hunger it has not happened because God did not take care of him or her. It has happened because neither you nor I wanted to give that person what he or she needed.
The MarkGrace Foundation mandate is to support the needy with the basic needs with provision of the necessary teaching and learning materials.
The registered Foundation has embarked on many donation activities aimed at giving back to society and has visited many orphanages houses in the country with food items, cooking oils, soft drinks, toiletries and many other relief items.
Founder and Director of MarkGrace Foundation, an associate Pastor of Reigning Power Gospel Church International, Pastor Mark Bempong Danso said that the donation will motivate the orphans.
Pastor Mark Danso indicated they dined with the orphans because the bible says that a generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
He promised that the foundation will visit the house during the Christmas season to donate relief items to help improve the life of the orphans.
Pastor Mark Danso urged the orphans to humble themselves and take their education seriously to become future leaders in the country.
The Assistant Administrator and Caretaker at Akwadum Christian Village, Madam Edith Ahoma also expressed her heartfelt gratitude for unweaving support for the orphans.
She prayed for the foundation.
