A motor rider has been crushed to death at Abenase in Ofoase Ayirebi constituency in Eastern region Thursday morning.
The motor rider identified as Haruna allegedly failed to observe road traffic regulation when joining the main road at Abenase while a speeding commercial vehicle was from Ayirebi direction towards Abenase.
The vehicle crushed the motor rider and dragged him to a distance while beneath the vehicle.
The rider was extricated beneath the car with horrific injuries and was rushed to Oda Government Hospital but pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The rider popularly known as Abotsi sells pieces of cloth and fabrics on motorbike.
He was returning home from his routine business rounds when he met his untimely death.
