The National Democratic Congress, NDC has described it as a poor shoddy work by the Electoral Commission’s preparations as the country gears up for the December 7 general elections.
The Eastern Regional secretary of the NDC Baba Jamal Konneh reacting to the inability for the special voting to come on as scheduled for Monday, December 2 on Bryt Adekyee Mu Nsem was not satisfied with EC for making such mistakes in this crucial moment.
He told the host, Kwamina Sam Biney that, the actions of the EC raises red flag on their activities as the NDC will not take such mistakes lightly in this year’s election.
Meanwhile, Dr. Oteng Adu, the Elections Director for the NPP on his part expressed worry at the unfortunate incident as it could even bring down the moral of persons supposed to take part in the special voting.
He said the various parties have made the necessary preparations towards the special voting, hence makes it difficult to amend the changes to fit into the current situation.
Dr. Oteng Adu therefore appealed to voters who have to travel to the region with the intention to exercise their franchise not to lose interest in the elections but rather make it a date to return on Thursday to vote.
