EASTERN REGION WELCOMES PRESIDENT MAHAMA FOR A TWO-DAY BUILDING GHANA CAMPAIGN TOUR
The Eastern Region is honored to welcome President Mahama for a dynamic two-day Building Ghana campaign tour commencing on January 30th and concluding on January 31st, 2024. The tour kicks off with a meeting at the Peduase Resort in the Akuapem South Constituency, where President Mahama will engage with the Regional Executive Committee (REC) and key Stakeholders.
The strategic itinerary encompasses visits to Anum Palace, a courtesy call to Koforidua Zongo Chiefs, and a durbar with Transport Unions and Traders in Agormenya. The tour also includes a Town Hall Meeting in New Juaben South Constituency and a visit to Asokore SDA Training College in New Juaben North Constituency.
On the second day, engagements commence with a breakfast meeting with the Clergy at Koforidua Eastern Premier Hotel, followed by homage to the Kukurantumi Chief. The incoming President will further engage with local farmers at Ahumanhumasu Pentecost Church, host an engagement ceremony at Nsutam Community Center, and conclude with a rally and round table discussion with party executives, showcasing unwavering commitment to grassroots perspectives and party unity.
