The National Democratic Congress,NDC, Women’s working committee, spearheaded by Eastern Regional Women Organizer Madam Shirley Naana Ampem, her Deputy Rita Awatey, and conducted strategic campaign engagement with traders at the Asesewa market ahead of the inauguration of the Upper Manya Krobo Constituency Women’s Working Committee on Saturday.
Accompanied by the Member of Parliament, Comrade Bismark Tetteh Nyarko, and constituency women organizers, the NDC team, accompanied by Regional Executive Members, commenced their interaction by seeking permission from market queen mothers.
Their message, emphasizing the 24-hour economy, projects executed bybthebNDC in the constituency and retarded development under the NPP.
They also critiqued the NPP’s performance, and failure of President Akufo Addo to sign the Anti-LGBTQI bill, resonated strongly with market-goers.
Their presence was marked by enthusiastic receptions at every corner of the market.
Subsequently, the group extended their outreach to the Zongo community in Asesewa, extending congratulations for a successful Eid -ul- Fitr celebration.
